Miller & Carter Washford Mill focuses on sustainability

With the commitment the UK had placed on achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, those of us at Miller & Carter Washford Mill have taken the time to evaluate our carbon footprint and craft a strategic response to greatly limit the impact on our planet.

Our parent company Mitchell’s & Butlers have been identifying new and significant ways to reduce the effect our restaurants have on the environment – after all, Earth should be spoiled just as much as our favourite guests. We’ve made considerable efforts so far and are proud of all we’ve achieved, but we’re also aware it will take more than this.

Behind the scenes, we’re making small changes every day that we hope have a positive impact on the world around us. It doesn’t stop there, either – we will continue making improvements and sustainable choices, focusing on:
