We believe the most succulent, flavoursome cuts of beef are found here in the UK - our top quality Ashdale beef is directly sourced from a select number of hand-picked West Country farms.

Traditional cuts such as Sirloin and Rump are aged on the bone for seven days, then matured for a further 21 days.The longer the meat is matured on the bone the more flavoursome and tender; our premium cuts of Porterhouse and T-bone mature on the bone for a minimum of 28 days, ensuring they are melt-in-the-mouth.

Our dedicated master butcher prepares the steaks to Miller & Carter's exact specification and our managers and kitchen managers attend Steak School, so they know how to bring out the best from this fantastic meat.

Why Ashdale beef is best

An independent panel of leading chefs and food journalists, organised by Belgium's 'Cook Magazine', decided that Ashdale beef tastes the best after comparing blind the finest rib-eye steaks from around the world.

Ashdale cattle are raised near Bath on lush West Country grass and cereals and all our steaks are sourced from here.

The judges said the steaks were "very tender with lots of character and excellent texture" and had "succulent fat and pronounced taste".
