RSS MILLER & CARTER RAISE THE STEAKS IN CARDIFF BAY WITH COOK-OFF AHEAD OF NEW OPENING

Wales's first Miller & Carter Steakhouse, Bar and Grill will open on Monday 12th October in Cardiff Bay.

Ahead of this Jeff Francis, manager of the new premium steakhouse, gave residents and visitors to Cardiff Bay the chance to be the first to have a look at the new menu, with an exclusive steak cook-off in the bay on Tuesday.

The restaurant held a steak sampling event in the Oval Basin and passers-by were able to try bite-size samples of different cuts of steak.

Expert Miller & Carter chefs were on hand to demonstrate the cooking techniques required in preparing quality steak, and visitors and residents were able to sample the care that has gone into the new Miller & Carter menu, and the expertise of the restaurant's talented chefs.

Jeff said: "Miller & Carter is proud of its quality and I believe that guests to the new Cardiff restaurant will enjoy our excellent service, varied drinks menu and finest selection of premium, succulent and flavoursome steaks in a fantastic setting".

"Whether it's an informal midweek treat, a business lunch, a weekend outing or a family celebration we feel our fabulous menu will soon be a firm favourite amongst people eating out in Cardiff. Guests looking for more information should check out the Miller & Carter website at www.millerandcarter.co.uk"

The new Miller & Carter will offer customers a range of meals, including signature dishes of expertly cooked premium steaks. Among the additions to the new menu is a new 'Premium Cuts' section which sees a 14oz T-bone and Porterhouse, along with a 12oz Cote de Beouf and 8oz Fillet sourced from Casterbridge West Country Beef.
